TwelveSouth has just released their iPad Mini BookBook vintage style book case for the iPad Mini, and it looks pretty cool. Designed to look like a hard-cover book, this case zips up snug as a bug in a rug, and looks good doing it.
2 in 1 Vintage Leather Bound iPad Case
The TwelveSouth iPad Mini Case is a bit of a departure from their usual style, and it features a number of design changes from the larger iPad case. All for the better I think. Really, this is a 2 in 1 case now that is designed to be highly functional, super light (just 7.5 oz), and very stylish.
The iPad is held in a thin leather pouch that is attached to the actual hardcover case with two metal buttons. The leather pouch holds the iPad Mini securely, and has a built in kickstand underneath it as well. This is neat because you can remove the tablet from the BookBook case itself when you want something even more compact, or you can keep it snapped in place and use the whole package.
The BookBook case itself is lined with a soft velvety suede which looks and feels luxurious. It has 2 zippers which secure it closed. The 2 zippers are quite handy because it lets you leave an opening wherever you want, either to plug in the charging cable or leave an opening for the headphone cord, or access to the volume buttons. The zippers have adorable little leather bookmark bits hanging from them too for a bit of extra style.
And finally, the external vintage leather case is designed to look like a gorgeous leather bound book or journal. It comes in 3 different flavors- Vintage Brown, Vibrant Red, or Classic Black, all of which look outstanding. You’ll have a hard time picking your favorite, that’s for sure.
Overall, this new case design is pretty awesome in our opinion, we love all the different features it offers and the different ways of using the iPad in this case. The TwelveSouth iPad Mini BookBook retails for $69.99. Check it out!
