| Loved by kids both little and big, remote control helicopters have come a long was since we were first introduced to these flying little marvels some time ago. Handling has improved, flight times are longer and you won’t be spending all your valuable flight time crashing them into the wall / ceiling / dog… Here we feature some of the best Radio Controlled Helicopters on the market today. | |||
| Syma S107 Remote Control Helicopter | |||
The Syma S107 comes complete with built in gyroscope (ooohh, fancy) which puts an end the endless spinning witnessed by many RC Helicopters. We didn’t know what a gyroscope was either, but Google tells us it’s is a device for measuring or maintaining orientation, which means we’re still actually none the wiser. What we do know is that a gyroscope combined with a RC helicopter is a perfect combination, delivering the most stabilized, easily manoeuvrable flight we’ve enjoyed in a long time.

| Nighthawk Remote Control Helicopter | |
We could think of little else we would rather do than play with a RC helicopter, then we we’re introduced to the Nighthawk Remote Control Helicopter and our eyes were well and truly opened. What’s special about this RC helicopter is that it allows you to fly in the dark, which is simply awesome! Decked out completely in black the Nighthawk comes complete with LEDs to light your flight path in the dark, adding a new dimension to RC helicopter flying.

| PicoZ MX-1 Extreme | |
If you’ve never played with a toy like this, then put quite simply,you really should. The advert said ‘the helicopter you can fit in your pocket’ but we weren’t quite prepared for just how dinky the MX-1 really is. If Polly Pocket were a Columbian drug baron this would certainly be her vehicle of choice. She might use it to terrify the local villagers from her secret jungle hideout, but we just used it to terrify cats. And it really does fit in your pocket, controller and all.
